Jenel Energy is the energy arm of Jenel Real Estate — owner and operator of 95 commercial properties across more than three million square feet — developing energy infrastructure from the ownership side of the table.
The Firm
Most energy developers arrive at a building as a counterparty. They model a roof they have never maintained, quote a disruption window they will not have to live through, and hand the owner a document written to protect the developer.
Jenel has been on the other side of that conversation for three decades. Every question an owner asks in diligence — what happens at roof replacement, what a system does to a sale, who carries the risk when the interconnection slips — is a question this firm has had to answer on its own buildings first.
That is the whole thesis. Not that we are cheaper, but that we have already sat where the owner sits.

Jenel Real Estate is a private New York investment group that has owned and operated commercial property since the 1980s. That platform is what Jenel Energy is built on: the site origination, the land control, the operating experience and the balance-sheet horizon.
It is also the proving ground. The portfolio is where the model gets tested before it is sold to anyone else.
